Unemployment: lowest since the start of the pandemic
This is the first post of my blog documenting the many different aspects of working in America and how that changed during the COVID-19 pandemic. I want to start on good note with a positive article because I know I will be going over many more depressing pieces of media concerning this main topic over the coming months. In the article titled, "Jobless claims total 340,000, lowest level since early days of pandemic," by Thomas Franck of CNBC, it goes over how unemployment in America is affecting the economy in a good way since it's the lowest it's been since March 2020. I recommend giving it a quick read and glancing at the graphs in the article that showcase the rise in jobs over the last year.

Are you confident that unemployment will keep up this winning streak or do you think the new Delta variant of the virus will shake things up?
